"When I retired which was seven years ago now, from the sea"

When I retired which was seven years ago now, from the sea, first I joined the Cullercoats Lifeboat, and I’m the, now the Lifeboat Education Visits Officer, LEVO, in charge of groups of school children and ladies and anybody else who wants to see the lifeboat around and I go out and give talks and slide shows in aid of the lifeboat and Frank Taylor, who’s one of the Deputy Launching Authorities in the lifeboat, he was in the Coble and Keel Boat Society, and he told me, “would you like to come and give us a talk sometime?” so I said, “sure,” and he has his own coble, which he goes sailing in, sailing coble, so I went and became involved with them and once a month, it’s a very pleasant evening, as you know, down in the Porthole.
