"They're very fine and then there’s five of them"

They're very fine and then there’s five of them- normally socks are knit on three needles but the ganseys are knit on five, which is quite an operation when you’re doing it. It gets very heavy as you’re knitting as you get on, which keeps you nice and warm in the winter but with it being a dark colour, it’s hard to see, so, they’re definitely labours of love, I call them.
