"The last one I was on, it was a broken down fishing boat, and the report was it was a couple of miles off Cullercoats"

The last one I was on, it was a broken down fishing boat, and the report was it was a couple of miles off Cullercoats and by the time we got there, it was actually four or five miles out at sea. Both his engines had failed and that was a Saturday afternoon so we just towed him back, but all in all the job was about two and a half hours, because it took us about 20 minutes to get there and about two hours to tow him back, so, but that’s just a normal job.

Most jobs are either towing somebody back or picking somebody up who’s stranded on the rocks.
